Synopsis
After nearly half a century of peace, Godzilla has become a distant memory for most of Japan. When the destruction of a US submarine raises alarms, fictional documentarian Yuri Tachibana discovers the legend of the guardian monsters. The ancient guardians must rise to protect Japan against the vengeful spirits within Godzilla, who seeks to destroy both the nation and its people for the suffering they inflicted in the Pacific conflict.
